- Malignant pleural mesothelioma:
ALIMTA in mixture with cisplatin is indicated for the healing of patients with malignant pleural mesothelioma whose disease is unrespectable and who have not up to that time received chemotherapy.

- Non-small lung cancer cells:
ALIMTA in mixture with cisplatin is indicated for patients with non-small cell lung cancer, locally advanced or metastatic, when the histology is predominantly squamous-cell carcinoma.ALIMTA is indicated as monotherapy for second-line treatment in patients with non-small cell lung cancer in locally advanced or metastatic, when the histology is not primarily squamous-cell carcinoma.
