Daughter of Former DuPont Employee Sues

The daughter of a former employee of DuPont who recently passed away has filed a workplace expoure suit against the company.
The suit names the father’s former employer, along with 13 other companies, as defendants claiming they are responsible for his asbestos exposure.
Father Exposed to Asbestos at Work
During Walter Dunn’s employment he was allegedly exposed to asbestos from the products he worked with and around.
As a result, he developed an asbestos related illness and died in 2006.
His daughter, Brandy Kieschnick is now suing her father’s former employers, holding them responsible for his illness and sudden death.
Among the defendants named in the suit are:
* Viacom
* Union Carbide
* Metropolitan Life Insurance Co.
Daughter Seeks Compensation
According to the suit, Dunn was exposed to asbestos while working in powerhouses, refineries and commercial buildings.
Kieschnick filed the suit on behalf of her father for his pain and suffering and is seeking compensation for his past and future medical expenses along with his mental anguish.
